Don’t you just love it when people think that you are younger than your physical age?

My target is to look 30 when I’m 60, and stay 60 when I’m 90!!! It’s all about the skin, but the science is more than skin deep.

If your “internal maintenance” is good, chances are, you will automatically look your prime!

Maintaining a habitual pro-positive lifestyle is akin to keeping a car in optimum condition, and the keys are:

  1. Eating Well & Thinking Happy Thoughts (“On-spec petrol + Good control systems”, they are interdependent),
  2. Resting Well (“Routine Maintenance”),
  3. Staying Active (“Consistent operations”).

Constant off-spec diet (feedstock) calls for more regular maintenance of the system. The only difference is that a non-living plant has spares whereas the human immune system is uniquely yours.

Let food be thy medicine let medicine by thy food

With evolving studies in Complementary and Integrative Medicine, diets higher in vegetable proportion are increasingly recommended and adopted for a variety of reasons including health, sustainability, and ethics-related concerns.

Vegetarians typically have a lower body mass index (BMI) and adherence to a diet with an emphasis on whole plant food has been observed to lower the risks of developing:

  • Coronary heart disease
  • Cancers: Breast cancer, colorectal cancers, prostate cancer
  • Type 2 diabetes, insulin resistance
  • Hypertension,
  • Cataracts and
  • Dementia.

All said, the state of wellness is the result of consistently applying the basic nutritional fundamentals.
